Do you ever wish that you could just turn off the anxious thoughts and the worry? Being in college can be an extremely stressful time and is a huge transition. The Office of Counseling and Personal Development is sponsoring this presentation to help you learn techniques to let some of that stress go. The ‘Mind Over Stress,’ presentation will provide an introduction to mindfulness practice, which will include deep breathing and muscle relaxation. You will learn the invaluable techniques of calming your mind and body to alleviate stress and anxiety. This presentation is open to all Off-Campus students and is free of charge. When: Tuesday 11/10/09 at 5:30pm Where: Faculty Lounge, Student Center. Come participate and be entered into a raffle for a Yoga Mat! |
